Update to Friday night's pre-game activities

Officers Gooch and Pullen with the Water Valley Police Department distributed a treat to all students in the Davidson Elementary School while educating them on the "dos and don'ts of trick or treating." Thank you to the Water Valley Police Department for their support to our district.

DES student council is judging our door contest for Red Ribbon Week.

Rin has enjoyed her visit around campus today. Be sure to read Ms Allen's shirt. 💙

This week the 2nd year students of the Law and Public Safety program began a Homeland Security certification course in Overland Search and Rescue (OSAR) taught by Water Valley Fire Department Chief Mark McGavock. So far this week they’ve started the basics including reading a topographical map and using an orienteering compass to plot and navigate a land course. Later in the course, they’ll be taken out into a wooded area to practice the skills they’re learning. Chief McGavok has always been a huge supporter of our students and this program and we are so appreciative of his willingness to give so freely of his time
Thank you to everyone that came out and helped us celebrate our “SPOOK”tacular Science
night.
