Water Valley High School students who were on the principal's honor roll for the first night weeks and their parents were honored with a breakfast and ceremony this morning. The Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event. Coaches Richard Russo and Chris Yancy gave an encouraging yet challenging address to the audience. During the hands-on experiment ,"Battle of the Beaks" our young scientists discovered how variations in beak shape and size can impact an organism's ability to survive and thrive in its environment.
