Pamela Redwine came to the Health Science 2 program yesterday and did a program called Gray for a Day that teaches students what health issues elderly people have and discussed as healthcare workers ways to help them. It also helps students have empathy for future patients because they better understand problems that occur with aging. The learned about decreased sensation, neuropathy, how vision affects ADLs, decreased taste affects eating habits, and problems with hearing and safety issues that need to be addressed. Thank you Mrs. Pamela. You did an excellent job and students enjoyed the activities
