This week Mrs. Jacks’s students are learning about the different biomes found on Earth. The students are taking virtual field trips to the different biomes using the IPads in class. These virtual field trips provide a multi-sensory experience, allowing students to see, hear, and even interact with different environments found in the biomes.

Ms. Tune's science students created terrains and Lego houses built to withstand a tsunami. This week we explored natural disasters, and how we can predict and protect against them. Students made hypotheses of what types of structures could withstand the tsuinami, and then recorded observations of how the terrains changed.
