Merry Christmas from the reindeer cafeteria crew at DES
The Student Council sponsored a wreath decorating contest at WVHS. First place went to Mrs. Harris, second place to Coach Sayles, and third place to Ms. Allen. Congratulations!
Congratulations to Coach Sayles for being selected as Teacher of the Month! Congratulations to Nurse Tori for being selected as Staff of the Month. We love you both!

Santa Claus also made a visit to DES on Friday and visited with Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Baker's classes.
Christmas Break
Hot cocoa day on Friday with WVHS Student Council.
Water Valley Band student was selected to perform at the Mississippi Band Directors Association Honor Band. Skylar Jordan was able to perform with musicians from all over the state in a fantastic concert on Saturday.
The WVHS Band thanks everyone for their support in the raffle!

Ms. Tunes homeroom had their last day of Garden Club for the semester today! We celebrated with a bonfire while cleaning up the garden for the winter. We are so thankful to Ms. Alexe for all the wonderful time spent in the garden this semester. We learned about the world around us, and also how to care for ourselves.
