Teachers who achieved 70% or above growth on the 2024 MAAP assessments were presented with a Certificate of Excellence and a BTC gift certificate. The recipients are Whitney Allred, 4th Grade ELA; Carlyn Allen, 7th Grade Math; Dr. Bonnie Keene, 8th Grade Math; Dexter Ross, 10th Grade ELA; and Elizabeth Upchurch, Algebra 1.
Mr. Jones’s 1st year Law and Public Safety students completed the requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration and obtained their recreational drone pilot license.

Mrs Jacks's students collected green leaves from outside and extracted chlorophyll from them to further their understanding of the photosynthesis process.

Mrs. Jacks’s students are exploring the principles of photosynthesis through a hands-on experiment. Our 5th grade students will be diligently observing the growth of grass under varying conditions throughout the next couple of weeks.
